Haidee Dungca-Zablan
Artist
Haidee Dungca-Zablan is a self-taught artist from Tarlac, currently living in Dubai, a late bloomer in the world of ink and charcoal art.
With no formal training in the arts, Haidee’s art journey began as a personal exploration of creativity and expression. Armed with a handful of unipin pens, charcoal pencils, and a sketchbook. Haidee set out to translate her thoughts and emotions onto paper. Through trial and error, Haidee has developed a unique style that combines the rich and unpolished nature of self-taught art. Charcoal became her chosen medium, as she was drawn to its expressive capabilities and rich textures. Her pieces often explore themes of self-discovery and personal growth. With an authentic passion for artistic self-expression, Haidee’s late start brought with it a sense of fearlessness and a willingness to take risks, resulting in pieces that evoke both vulnerability and strength. Her artworks will be an inspiring testament to the transformative power of art and the limitless potential of a self-taught artist.
